GT4 Zed
Hi pips, just came across this and just thought of all the after kerbing your prize alloys. You can actually use it as an enhancement or to cover up already kerbed rims too! They are cheap and easy to fit so for our show friends you can always change color schemes website: http://alloygator.co.uk Videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDoqwkld6jU There is another company based in NZ who do a similar poduct but with no branches in Uk website: http://www.rimpro-tec.co.nz http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1doK1nsPqY

rich5259
just get tyres that are wide enough to go outside the rims and don't have the s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d look
GT4 Zed
just get tyres that are wide enough to go outside the rims and don't have the s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d look Bogof Rich i dont have the stretched look.............if anything my tyres are plus-sized on the rims to protect it from kerb damage instead (295/30/19 on 19X9.5 wheels instead of 10.5) but i could do with more protection from the kerbs on race tracks. As you go round a corner quickly the tyres roll inwards and exposing the rims edges to the kerbs secondly i could use different colours to make it interesting like in meets etc

IMHO of course Pimm as for ideas i like them too, but the company which was discussed last time didn't do 18" or above. i'll try and find the thread and link on here. bronzee
Nice find. I'd not heard of the crew in Auckland before. They must not have much of presence in the car community.
madmat
Hi guys the people in new zealand that make these are a 2 friends that i went to school with and emagrated 8 years ago, they put 3 years of work into developing and getting patents sorted for the RimPro-Tec, last i heard they had had meetings with jezza clarkson about a feature on top gear as theyve already been featured on top gear new zealand and from what i gather they really do the job of protecting your alloys. God that sounds like a sales pitch lol didnt mean it too
Tarmac@TarmacSportz
I'd buy red ones in 19" if I could get them. It's a fantastic idea, especially when you have your Mrs insured on your car like I do
