KurtB
Hi, After an accident along a motorway, the smashed up car was at the side of the road, and traffic was driving past about 40mph-ish. There must have been some debris in the road as it flew up and hit my car, and done this (photos in a second!) I've ordered some touch up paint, but I'm unsure if this will do the job. . I was also worried about it rusting (happened Wednesday evening). I don't really know a lot about paintwork, so any advice would be helpful please. As its a Sunday won't be able to get it looked at by a specialist till end next week. Do you think touch up paint will be enough? Can I try it and if it looks naff, get it done properly? Cheers By the way, excuse the filth of the car. It was gleaming 40 miles ago, thats british weather for you EDIT - by the way I was no way involved in this accident, just driving past it with the traffic, to clear things up
chrisyboy84
Hello Mate, I see your little mark, I would recommend putting a touch up over it, it would just take the eye away from it, as its underneith that lip you will never know. It wouldnt be worth respraying the whole door. Is it a straight black or Metalic?? I'm in yarmouth my self, my father has Charles Calver & Sons next to desira on north quay. Let me know how you get on. Chris.
