RichIX
Hi Guys, I got some new Vredesteins fitted to my car all round last week (Great Tyres BTW) and the guy said I could do with some new disks on the front the car has done 11k so far, im off to the 'ring in May so might get them changed before then! If I change the disks do I need to change the pads as well? (Complete car mechanic novice) if so wheres the best place to get them changed at? I'm in Leeds.... Thanks! narcotix
Alright mate, It is usually advised that you change your pads when you fit new discs (unless your pads are newish) ... Any mechanic should be able to change them over without problems ... do you have Brembo calipers? I've just ordered some EBC Ultimax discs and EBC Yellowstuff pads for my Brembo setup from CS (a trader on here) ... and will be getting them fitted there too ... UNABASHED
I've been looking for a decent mechanic for the non specialised zed work and so far the best I have found is Burley Hill Garage - very reasonable rates and knows what he's talking about. Wookiee22
If you're at all handy with a spanner why not have a crack at it yourself? Plenty of step-by-step guides to be found.

UNABASHED
give them a call and get a quote, it's a good starting point if nothing else - http://www.burleyhillgarage.com/ I always like to give the stealers a call for a quote as well, for the comedy if nothing else.
