andymc
Whats the best model etc of Scorpion exhaust for the 350Z? I gotta say that there are only a few exhausts I like the sound of ... Nismo and Scorpion. And curiously, they are at opposite ends of the price range! pound per sound ... (if thats a valid thing to say) the Scorpion is a winner

captain
Here's an alternative if you want to be rarer and better looking. Looks very well made and the website gives confidence. http://www.blueflameperformance.co.uk/ http://www.blueflameperformance.com/cargallery/#NISSAN/350Z http://www.blueflameperformance.com/prange.php?makeid=70&modelid=376&pageid=6 Expect to pay less than the advertised £595 for the cat-back system as their distributors are providing substantial discounts. I mentioned this to Blueflame and they did me a price. I ended up paying about £70 more than the Scorpion/Japspeed combo. Mines being fitted w/c 5th April so if you can wait, I'll have a good quality vid up soon.

I really wanted the Nismo but cant justify all that money on an exhaust. The blue flame sounds awesome, so, yep! How much did you get in for dude? and do they fit them at their HQ? I rang them direct and mentioned the distributors that were undercutting them. If you Google "blueflame 350z" and go to Shopping you'll see the two companies Blueflame matched the lowest price. If you go to the distributor, they might palm you off with an older, silenced version which would be As for fitting, they're in Skelmersdale which is where the frightening Northern tribes live and I don't go north of the Cotswolds darling. danZman
I dont get it?! I just brought one of these on ebay from a company called Larkspeed. They refunded me saying I purchased this item in error? Scorpions fit on JDM's right?
danZman
Thats really bad! They updated the advert AFTER I purchased the exhaust stating that it will not fit JDM Models! I still dont get it, are JDM's that different?

TBH if they did that arent you happy the refunded you, if something happened later on I dont think they would deal with it. Give CS a shout. Gervais
May be a long shot but us there anyone near rainham in Essex with just a scorpion from the Y pipe back? As I want to hear one in person as oppossed to going by videos alone. I'm also not too keen on rasping, do they do this? Thanks in advance and sorry for the hi-jack! Neilp
It doesn't rasp, more a v6 grunt/rip through the exhaust. Sounds amazing, just not too loud.

rawbhp
I have one and am next to J20 of the M25 if you are ever nearby. Standard Y pipe at the moment. The noise is great-fairly subtle but definitely louder than stock. No rasp-just a grunty growl.
buster
i ve got to say that the scorpion system sounds great.after a sound check at castle coombe at the weekend the result came back at 80db. mine came with this fitted and must say coupled with the y pipe and the jwt air filter its got a great burble. Exactly what i want to hear... i was worried i might not notice the difference without an aftermarket Y pipe. Possibly thats not the case then. Gervais
Sounds like just what I'm after! thanks for the offer mate, will drop you a pm soon and fly up to you at somepoint
rawbhp
Yes it's definitely louder from in and outside the car. I don't think i'll fit a y pipe as it will be that bit too loud and drown out the popcharger etc. A guy at the flats where i live has a stage 2 exhaust on his Exige S and no cats by the sound of it - and all you can hear is exhaust noise (from about a mile away). Not my cup of tea...
kazman
Mine neither. What i would like is to be able to hear the exhaust at higher revs. At the moment (std UK zorst) the engine noise seems to swamp the exhaust above 3.5k rpms...
bodyboarder
Why not buy my blue flame and have the choice of quiter or louder then? Plus it comes with a y pipe so should see some improvements,
ChrisUUC
Does the Scorpion exhausts on Ebay fit the 08 HR 350z? Same question for the Japspeed/Itchiba/envy Y Pipes?
