GT4 Zed
I have a few querries before taking out my black Ksports BBK callipers out for blasting and powdercoat The powdercoaters have booked me in for next week and they want me to remove the pistons and any rubber part before sending it to them. My question are: - Once i disconnect the braided line from the caliper How can i prevent the brake fluid from leaking completeley or creating an airlock? - I've been told to use an air gun to pop out the pistons is that safe or is there another way as i donot have an air gun at home? can i cover up the the pistons or is the a risk from shot blasting or baking? - When refitting i want to take the opportunity to change the brake fluid. (Motul RBF 660) is it a case of flushing the old fluid out through each nipple while topping the new fliud constantly to prevent any lock or ? - Any other advise will be usefully if you know about this Cue Zmanalex. - Finally what do you guys think of yellow callipers peering through black wheels? (Like a Lambo or Porsche )
ZMANALEX
You will have to replace all the piston seals when you refit the pistons. Have you checked out the Nissan prices.
introspect
I reckon yellow callipers will look awesome against the black wheels Make sure you get some pictures up when it's all done!
