DoogyRev
Morning All, I had some EBC Yellow Stuff pads fitted to my car about a month ago, and I have noticed that when I reverse and apply brake I can hear the pad moving in the calliper. I can stick my finger in the calliper and wobble the pad (outer). Any ideas? Is it the piston or air in the line? Car is off for an MOT tomorrow, so will ask the garage to have a look. Being a non-technical technical bod, I would like to be able to at least have some idea of what is wrong. Cheers
nicon2k
I have the same pads and they are doing exactlly the same thing. Perhaps they all do it...........

ZMANALEX
This type of pad movement within the calliper is quite normal and providing all the pins and clips are in place then it is nothing to worry about. Alex.

DoogyRev
Hi, Sorry I have been away this week. The garage said that some shims would fix, I don't remember any being in the box so I am trying to get some to see if that fixes the problem.
