Jotun
Hi guys, I'm such a hypochondriac when it comes to my car but, I've noticed that when I move away from where my car is parked there is a slight greasy patch roughly between the rear wheels. I'm wondering if this could be some oil leaking from the diff or whether its something else.... any way of telling or any other likely candidates. If the diff is leaking fluid what are the symptoms of this? The back end is coming out very easily at the moment but then I am getting towards the end of the life of my tyres. Any advice? Cheers
Chris`I
Can you get it jacked up? Shouldnt be difficult to find the culprit. Not heard of it being a problem before. Usual suspects such as ZMANALEX will be worth a PM
srobrien
I had this last week, it will probably be coming from the level telltail plug at the top, with the cold weather it sometimes loosens as there are only about 4 threads holding it in. Just jack the rear of the car up and you will see two hex plugs, give them both a nip up and hopefully that will stop it. R
