Yep, thats the way, just make sure you keep the shaft held tight and dont let it turn and then twist the knob...

 

+1 twisting your knob without holding the shaft can damage your box. peel your rubber bit back and put some mole grips on the bare shaft under your knob. it can take 2 people pulling it or some strong arms to get off.

+1 get a friend to hold your shaft so you can twist the knob with 2 hands

cool, i got round to doing it today, after i got the thing off there was a little rubber washer and a metal one under that. I removed the metal one and put it all back together....... no more rattle!! :yahoo::D:thumbs:
