felex6
Hi, I'm looking to get a set of 19"s or 20"s for my Zed, 9 and 10 width respectively. Was wondering what's the best offset for such setup? I want the wheels to be flushed with the arches to the max, maybe even come out the arches a little. Don't want to use spacers. Tnx
Jay
+15 is norm a good offset There are other folks who have even had their fenders rolled as they wanted a more agressive offset
Digsy
Discussed at length in this thread viewtopic.php?f=113&t=32768 and numerous others if you use the search button.
clarkie34
You would be better with 9.5 + 10.5 with low 20s offset.
Ian
To achieve what you want then you need < 12 offset
Chris`I
I'd say somewhere around 12-15, but if you are looking for hellaflush approval, I'm with Ian, you need something extreme. I'd say +12 is about what you want.
felex6
Any pictures of a Zed with ET:12 wheels maybe? For me this is too much: This is not enough: And that's perfect
felex6
Any downside of 20"s over 19"s apart from cost of rubber?
IanS16
And that's perfect First ones 'shopped mate, second is nice though
nrenz123
I'd say 12 Rear and 15 front.

Digsy
I'd say 12 Rear and 15 front. It will vary slightly with the individual wheel design.
Valveman
For those offsets you will need to get your arches rolled. How could you drive any of those cars on our roads? I wouldn't be able to get them out of my drive, but I suppose they will be trailored around to shows.

No you wouldn't need arches rolled, and they are easy to get around if you are careful

No you wouldn't need arches rolled, and they are easy to get around if you are careful That only gives you about 2" of suspension travel before the tyre hits the arch. Unless you have race suspension and are driving on a race track I can't see how you can get away with this for road use without either damaging your tyre(s) or your bodywork. Ian
Its been done by lots of people both here in the UK & in the states, so yes you can get away with it & with out damaging anything
felex6
Wow, those are some tight offsets Are they 20" diameter and width of 9" front and 10" rear? Just called DPE last night and was quoted $6000 shipped for set of 20s ST-10s

nrenz123
my rears are 9.5 with an offset of 12 and are spot on, tyre wear isn't too bad at all either!
