chronic
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was going to buy the renault 197 for the cheapness, but then was thiking about a golf GTI or a focus ST, now im thinking a second hand 350z which seems the best choice hands down, what id like is some advice on buying like whats the best year/model to get, im assuming anything after 2003 and GTpack? And also whats the boot size/seat height like? And how tuneable is the engine? Thanks for the help!
Liam's Z
Your probably best picking up a JDM for your price bracket. Anything after 2003 should be fine.... Go standard if your planning on doing any interior mods. leather seats, cruise and better bose come with GT tho some JDM models are different.... Boot will take 2 sets of full size golf clubs, seat can easily take a good 6 footer. Supercahrgers/ APS Twin Turbo's are very expensive but produce massive performance gains.... BTW to the club mate and enjoy your stay

Think M3, boxster and z4!! Thats the category your into with a Zed! Stop thinking mate and just buy one. Infact test drive them all, and as soon as you hear the V6 fire up, you'll will have a very simple decision to make
H5
For UK cars, year and model pre 06 doesn't matter, only main difference being GT pack or not (leather, electric seats, BOSE sound system, cruise control). As for your other cars, I agree with Sarnie. The Mini Cooper S Works and Golf GTi on the A404 on the way home will testify that........ The 06 model has same power as current Boxster and Cayman S from Porsche, is MUCH better looking than ANY BMW and they're not a common sight. Do it, what more could you want?! ByteJuggler
Stop thinking mate and just buy one. Infact test drive them all, and as soon as you hear the V6 fire up, you'll will have a very simple decision to make +1 You'll find yourself involuntarily sprouting a grin when you get behind the wheel and especially once you hear the V6 fire up and when you pull away/start driving. I certainly did when I went on a test drive, and this "Zed induced grinning" effect is apparently very common. (In fact, though I don't own a Zed yet and thus can't talk from experience, the silly grin remains more or less permanently! )

This pic is from my previous Kuro Zed, I think the Alezan went really well with it. My Ultra Yellow GT4 has the black/charcoal interior and I love that as well as the exterior is so overstated I too have been looking at some black rims, think they look mean on a yellow Zed! My Zed was registered March 06 but is actually a MY03-05 Zed. Everyother GT4 was registered as 05 and 55 plates but my one was registered ultra late due to a few buyers pulling out. Hence I have the only 06 plate UY GT4 in the country
