cgomez1978 Posted February 11, 2010 Share Posted February 11, 2010 Ive got a JDM with 235/50/17 rear's and 225/50/17 front's, I was going to buy MPS 2 but i cant get them in those size's but i can get them in 235/45/17 rears and 225/45/17, fronts the same with falken 452's' would i get away with using 45's or will i have to find a different tyre. I drive around 2500 miles a month so i want something which aint going to wear down too quickly. has anyone got any ideas ive been told to try Khumo U31 Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lincolnbaggie Posted February 11, 2010 Share Posted February 11, 2010 With 45 profile tyres you'll reduce you rolling radius by about 3.5% which will affect your speedo a bit and may also cause problems with the ESP. Not sure what kind of variation it can cope with before it starts complaining. It will also make the wheels look smaller in the arches.
