bronzee
Well it was our annual visit and display at Galaxy of Cars on Sunday & our clubs own Concours d' Elegance. Always a busy day, there from 7am to set up. Certainly a fun day and new members displaying and new members making themselves known. Lots of lovely Zeds from a 1966 Fairlady Roadster, right through to the 350. No 370's in the club as yet. Baking hot day. About 30 degrees, extremely high humidity. But the very shiny bronzed one, won it's 350 trophy for the 4th year running, with only 4 hours prep the day before (not the usual weeks and weeks). Not having had the car for a month whilst it's been resprayed. A few photos from Sunday. 8)

bronzee
That brings back memories of the older Zeds .......... and the sunshine looks interesting too The old schools are lovely. The blue was is a fresh refurb. Ooooodles spent on it. But quite stunning, won trophies, but lost lots of points as quite a few modifications apart from the colour obviously. The two red 240's are absolutely gorgeous and the orange 260 only been completed for a year. And the red z31 is absolutely stock and still low mileage, all the owners manual, pump and jack haven't even been opened. If it was a concours why did they give the prize to a rusty one? well done Coz it rocks! Thank you. The others got off lightly this year, having only got it back the afternoon before the show. They're all worried about next year. And this weekend is the major Concours d' Elegance show for NZ. The gingernut will be on display too.
