kazman
I would be interested to know if this is the compression rod sound, as my sound is quite different, much duller and less repetitive. Good luck with the problem

kazman
I expected someone to have been able to help by now - the rattle from the compresison rod is quite a common complaint it seems, surley someone who has had it can confirm if this is what it sounds like? mic-39
Yes That sounds like the noise I had before the banana shaped bar was replaced. They seem to wear about 60k miles although that would depend i guess on the road surface. If one side has gone the other will be soon after

kazman
Have you had the problem sorted now? And was this the cause of it? I'm still not sure if this is quite what mine sounds like....
