mc
I'm thinking of changing the y-pipe to a japspeed one, but I notice the original has a heatshield (or something) on it, and the replacement doesn't... Will there be any problems caused by fitting the japspeed one? cheers mike

3FIDDYZ
Nope, there are additional heat sheilds above the y-pipe on the car. You may find that you get a rasping noise from these, either removing (pretty safe unless you track the car) or getting someone to seemweld the join. 3FIDDYZ
thanks 3fiddy No worries! Are you changing cats too?
mc
thanks 3fiddy No worries! Are you changing cats too? I'm not sure at the moment, dont really want to go for a de-cat because I can't be bothered with changing them for the MOT (also don't want it too loud). I thought the y-pipe was a good price thats why I was going for it
