ZMANALEX
I should have all the preowned parts that you are looking for depending on what model your car is. I have a few IPDM units and looms. I will require your full VIN number but in the meantime if you could confirm if your car is JDM or U.K and the year please then I can get started. Also if you could pm me further details of the quote ie a breakdown of parts and labour and any part numbers that they have given you as this would be helpful in identifying the correct parts. Welcome to the forum Cheers, Alex. Hi Guys,Took my Z in after a week of stange and worrying things occured last week : - no indication signals internal + external -wind screen wipers didnt function -lights flashing on and off independently -car cut out after indicating (scary! thankfully at low speed) Drove it in on Sunday and it was all functioning fine apart from traction control light always staying on and bouncing rev counter even when not reving. Had an alarming quote of £3696.00 exc. VAT to replace both the IPDM and wire loom. The problem was saifd to be caused by an ingress of water into the IDPM which resulted in the corrosion of the legs/pins, I queried if this was a common problem but apparently it is not. After franically ringing around every auto electric specialists in the north east to find a cheaper alternative I was advised the price quoted was a staggering amount for such a job (under statement and a half) but most places are are unable to carry out the works and suggest its a Nissan repair only. Could anyone advise what course of action to take next. I've read various articles about buying second hand IPDM and wiring looms from e-bay which seem to be available from car breakers for around £150 each but will this resolve the problems or present more difficulties to code the second hand components to my car etc.... apologise Im not as technically minded as any of you on the forum. Also could anyone provide me with any sort of quotes for the work if possible, preferably reasonable so I don't need let go of my 'Z'. The missus is pushing for a more practical family car as it is and this quote hasn't exactly helped matters. Appreciate any advice given. Cheers, Paul
ZMANALEX
Paul, Further to your pm: Checked this out this morning for you and I should have a preowned Loom and IPDM in stock. The loom is already off the car but I would have to remove the IPDM to compare the part numbers. The IPDM unfortunately is not plug and play and will require to be reprogrammed. Let me know if I can help you further. Alex.

M13KYF
Well the car is running again with no hazard lights - not sure how long that will last. Contacted many auto electrial specialists and Im currently waiting on a couple to see if they can undertake the work. I've advised them I will source the parts to keep costs to a miniumum. How much are we talking about for IPDM and wiring loom? Cheers, Paul it will be definitely cheaper from ZMANALEX than Nissan
