Danny 350Z
I was driving down the A380 to Torquay yesterday and a gritter was (obviously) gritting the dual carriageway, probably travelling about 50mph. I slowed and passed it around 60 and heard and saw the grit hitting the windscreen and thought that sounded a little harsh. Low and behold, it's pepper potted my (new) f***ing windscreen with loads of mini-chips. FFS!! The Zed is a disaster magnet. I'll post some pictures when I get back to Yorkshire. Thoroughly bugged. nixy
Yet another reason mine stays off the roads during winter. Your zed would cry if you took it out between november and march Dave! Sorry to hear about your windscreen though Danny - it's a pain!
rtbiscuit
i could have folded 50p pieces between my arse cheeks when i went to york before xmas, had to pass 3 gritters, and the sound of the grit against my newly painted front bumper was not very nice

I am working tonight too and driving the Punto to work was very scary. I can honestly say that i cant ever remember seen roads this bad where i live. No gritting at all and the roads are like glass. Even the Punto was struggling to cope, the zed would have had no chance.
BulletMagnet
Is it even worth getting one of these for the winter? Mind you, I'll prolly have trouble fitting a Varis lip under that... http://www.autobra.co.uk/shop/product_i ... cts_id=
