ug45cwb
I got some new pearl black badges for front and rear, whats the best way to get the old badges off without damage? Also have a pearl black 350z badge. The bodyshop removed the old one to repaint/fit spoiler. Trouble is i'm not sure on the exact placement of the new one. Anyone got any tips to get it in the right place and level? Needs to look something like this Cheers
rtbiscuit
badge removal just use something like a hairdryer to warm it up and fishing line as a sawing action to cut the foam behind. as for fitting the "350Z" part, its a case of doing it by eye
drob
heat them up with a hair dryer or hot water to soften the tape that holds them on, or use like fishing wire to get down the back, something flat wrapped in cloth so you dont damage the paint, just done mine. all i can say is be patient while doing it
jim
I bought a 350Z badge set direct from Nissan when I got the car (I replaced the Fairlady badge). I'm sure it came with a plastic template to help you position all the numbers in the right place. Might be worth trying your local dealer to see if they have one. ChrisS
If you have any one close to where you live, you could make a template from there's. Amazing what can be done with an old Cornies box. True Blue Peter stuff.
