HEADPHONES
Got a puncture a while ago. A new Falken452 arrived from Camskill last week so off I went to get it fitted When tring to remove the old tyre he came a cropper and had to "force it off" as the original fitters didn't align the bead properly and it was getting jammed. Along with taking care not to damage my Nismo's lip he took 40 min from start to finish Coz he's a knows me (friend's cousin)he didn't want to charge me. Felt bad so bunged him £20. WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE PAID HIM? He does have overheads and has to make a living, so, say TA VERY MUCH and keep your money or do you reckon his time was worth more and i underpaid him? ZMANALEX
I would say that £20.00 is a fair and acceptable amount as a token of your appreciation.

3FIDDYZ
Yep would say thats fair for the time. Most places normally charge about £10 a corner but that one sounds like it was a PITA Top work for taking time to not damage your wheels

Chris`I
I would say £20 is more than enough appreciation, I'm sure a few beers would have been good enough to show you knew it was a PITA
Sarnie
£20 is cheaper than getting it done for free by a monkey who damages your wheel which then needs a refurb and will never be the same...........
clarkie34
Good job you took it to someone you know.40 mins in the hands of a yts trainee, there would have been no wheel left. Do they still have yts or was that the conservatives.

Labour outsourced it probably after they tried to deal with it, then got bored and it went down the pan!
rich5259
My local place charges £10 a corner and will fit anything I take them . The guys are really careful of alloys and didn't damage my Rays even thought the BS050s kept trying to get back on the rims
sketch
£20.00 is fine, especially considering he had to force it, he did well not to damage anything
