Guest prescience
There is a NISMO ECU upgrade available but it is suitable only for JDM cars (or was) - I believe that to achive the gains mentioned, you need to also get other bits (NISMO filter and some others I can't recall) but the ECU is the main one. My memory is a tad hazy on this but I believe that Middlehursts (St Helens) did some work trying to reproduce the effects by re-mapping a UK (Euro) ECU but without success since the map kept resetting - why that was, I don't know. Middlehursts would be my first port of call to discuss this if you are interested for your car - chances are, the guy selling the car went to them as official NISMO importers into the UK. Thats intresting Dorian, mine being a JDM may benifit from one of these ECU's.. to be fair though I think this particular car is being sold by a general car dealer, rather than a specialist and may not be quite as expected
Removed
unless they have come to this country through Middlehurst, (which again might have got hold of it via a "side" deal) you will very rarely find Nismo ecus around. Nismo are VERY VERY strict wrt what they let out of their factory, they want to have complete control on stuff like ECUs.

Oh yeah thats the distant genetic relation to the lochyness. So basically you dont get any amphibious monsters as part of the deal.
rickya
or for that matter " FACTOTY" Oh yeah, thats a mis-spelling, its meant to be FATTOTY. So theres no fat bird on the passenger seat thrown in as part of the deal.
rickya
or for that matter " FACTOTY" Would love to hear about the Fianance Package Oh yeah thats Fiance package. You actually get a mail order bride from Japan thrown in as part of the deal. Its the JDM- "Japanese domesticated mate" model so thats why. ps yes I am very bored at work, before anyone asks. M13KYF
Middlehurst had a Nismo ECU up for sale on ebay a while back. Also I'm sure I've just seen another car going through with Nismo tune JDM.

M13KYF
As I understand and as Dorian pointed out. They weren't successful in getting it to work ok
Removed
I know. Still, the sold it on ebay and when asked a legitimate question which could have helped potential buyers, they didn't answer. This imo of course shows they were willing to sell to whoever despite knowing that it wouldn't have worked on Uk Zeds...
