Beware, those viewing from work, my friend who was a £50k a year professional got sacked for abusing the companies IT facilities, for being logged into ebay for 6 hours in one week...............

i get the feeling they must ahve been after him anyway.

alot of companies get a list of the top ten interweb users and what they look at. im my company its so huge i dont really have to bother about it, the It are so understaffed they can barely keep the system alive let alone police it

I think my internet traffic is being monitored at work at the moment so I only browse 350Z-uk at lunch time. One day recently, every page was scanned before opening. As Sanie says be careful

There are plenty of anonymous proxy servers available that prevent users being tracked - and other ways around it (unless your boss has one of my products http://www.crosstek.it/websentry.html ;) )

Does using logmein to your home PC work... i.e. stop them monitoring what you view?

yes - they wont be able to see the session only the fact that you are using it (they cant see web pages you browse remotely) This will only work if port 2200 is enabled on the firewall, or port 3389 for RDP session

I've been using logmein to home for the last month from work, as i got a new work PC with loads of web monitoring software that 'coaches' the website's i visit. i just wanted to check it wasnt a futile exercise.
