Fien
just been reading quotes from Airplane and the more i read the more i remember how funny this film is. Might have to watch it tonight now: Rumack: You'd better tell the Captain we've got to land as soon as we can. This woman has to be gotten to a hospital. Elaine Dickinson: A hospital? What is it? Rumack: It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now. Hanging Lady: Nervous? Ted Striker: Yes. Hanging Lady: First time? Ted Striker: No, I've been nervous lots of times. Captain Oveur: You ever been in a cockpit before? Joey: No sir, I've never been up in a plane before. Captain Oveur: You ever seen a grown man naked? Nothing to Lose (the scene where Tim Robbins' shoes are on fire with scatch man music is priceless) There's something about Mary (the frank and beans section is hilarious....sorry guys but it is!) Anything with Ben Stiller - Loved the bit in Along Came Polly where he had a dicky tummy and there was no loo roll! The money pit There's loads more but i can't think of them on the spot. +1 watch it every year and still laugh my ass off. Even though I know whats comin. Soooo funny. Tamac, supertroopers is pretty much one of the greatest films ever. And Dave, the shenanigans scene is the best!! 'I swear to god i'll pistol whip the next guy who says shenanigans'. ...pause 'Hey Favre, whats the name of that restaurant you like with all that goofy @*!# on the walls, and the mozerella sticks?' '...you mean shenanigans?' 'Ooooh (while passing a pistol to the boss)'. http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/0e65e1 ... m-dirttron Epic. Have you seen Dukes of Hazard? That also has Jay Chandrasekhar in it and he is 'Campus police', and he pulls sean william scott for speeding... 'You know how fast you were goin?' 'Er...10?' '8'. ...Mother of god...! Maccaman
You cannot do this without anything by Laurel & Hardy, all time classics. Another to add for British Comedy genius is Will Hay, Oh Mr Porter etc. These are comedy without having to revert to filth just to get a laugh. That is not to say I don't enjoy modern comedy but I really appreciate comedy skill.
