greido
Hey, Does anyone have any experience in transferring Australia No claims Bonus to here in the UK? - If so, is it easy enough to do and will the discount be applied here? Also, I hear that any foreign national here has to change their driving licence after a certain amount of time of being a resident (6 months I think?). From an insurance point of view, will this mean that it looks like the licence has only been held since the date of change over or is the licence held from the date a test was passed in the original country. Any thoughts on the above would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, G

Sarnie
You can drive in the UK on an international license for 12 months and I'm pretty sure that foreign no claims are non transferable but would have to confirm that.
Stew
I agree with Sarnie. We have a lot of international staff at work and they have to pass a british test within 12 months. I don't think the NCB is transferred.
