S77 CRV
Stupid question time Whats the craic with this event. I am assuming that we have a stand where we all park our cars on display and look smug? Please forgive my noobness but this is a first for me. I have already booked my entry tickets at the bargin £11 price so I assume we will need some sort of pass? Answers on a postcard please
H5
If you have sorted out entry I am sure we can get you on to the stand. The theme tends to be to arrive, arrange the cars, make sure they're all clean and shiny and yes, let people come look and admire. At the same time normally end up chatting to other people who don't know about us yet, are thinking of buying the car etc. The show itself will have track action, you can go on track too if you wish, traders and other car clubs there. And of course a good social thing with the other members. Be good to have you along

Muddy
Sorry to be a pain. But haven't really paid attention to this thread. I'd say I'm 98% certain of coming so what are the correct ticket prices and procedure to purchasing - according to pg 1 it's still to be confirmed. Ohh and can I have a +1 please, Tanya would kill me if she thought I'd missed her out. Is this a dedicated Z-club stand and do we know it's location within the show yet? Will car passes be issued or is it turn up and find the clubs stand? I've been to Japfest several times before, but can't quite remember if there are speed bumps around the place could some nice person who has better memory than me let me know? I know some of the areas they tend to stick car clubs is a bit ropey regarding grass verges etc. Sorry about the hundred and one questions. (Wish I didn't have such a low car ) Craig
alessandro
+1 do we buy the ticket here or on the Japfest web-site? I also am +1 thanks

I know some of the areas they tend to stick car clubs is a bit ropey regarding grass verges etc. I'm sure Martin will confirm for sure, but from the top of my head: - We are sharing with Z-Club as we always do, this normally makes for a great sight seeing all the Z heritage together - Normally they are placed just beside the entrance to the actual track itself (noise limit testing bit), between Merlin Motorsport and the Cafe I think. Come in the gate, hang a right and keep going, you will see them on the corner. - Car passes are normally issued ahead of schedule - at least they have the past 2 times I have been with this club and Z-Club - No speed bumps, but grass verge(s) may be an issue. I'll make sure we let the Z-Club chaps know and sure we can arrange something. Do you keep some planks in the car anyway?
martinmac
I will bring the planks again.
Chris`I
IIRC and we are in the same place, it shouldnt be a problem Mart, but best confirm with Z-Club that they are on the same stand as always. It seems a bit more popular this year so we may have been moved to a different pitch.
Muddy
I will bring the planks again. LOL Martin
Muddy
Thanks for the reply Chris. I think I know where you mean with regards to stand location. I'm sure there will be a way to get on to the grass But just to re-ask Where do we purchase the tickets? Is it through 350z-uk, z-club or Japfest themselves and quote "z-club" Sorry for the million and one questions
Ian
Its normally paid straight to Z-Club. You can get straight on the grass at the front of the stand, I had to go up around the back last year and down a slope but managed it without catching
alessandro
Another noob question...... Z-Club? as in another forum? Do I have to register before or I can just pay?
