Gurjeet
Some scummy bar steward has stolen my tent pole aerial whilst I was parked in the west end of Glasgow. Looking to replace it with a stubby (should have done it ages ago, in retrospect). Thoughts on this one? Only difference I can see is that it is alloy as opposed to black plastic. Anyone have any experience of these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ALLOY-BEE-STING-A ... _736wt_940 Many thanks
Trev-the-Rev
Will look a bit odd mounted on a black base. You'd be better off getting a Honda S2000 one which quite a lot of members also use.
gunmetalzgt
i've got one the alloy ones. thought it would be good. It doesn't go for the s2000 one, i know i will!!
rich5259
I got a black alloy stubby from Halfrauds - think it's a ripspeed and it works ok, but it's solid and not flexible like the flagpole
M13KYF
honda stubby works well. Its the same one on the civic, s2000 and the CR-v

andyzed
I've tried a couple of aluminium stubby's but found the radio reception to be inferior and also some are only plated not solid aluminium so the coating flakes off after a while and looks crap. I recently bought a solid brass anodised with black stubby and found the radio reception to be as good as the stock 350Z aerial as brass is better than aluminium for radio reception. It's nice and solid and doesn't bend as easy as the aluminium ones which I've accidently bent whilst washing the car Bit more expensive but quality is superb and IMO looks good as well in black.
