rich5259
I need new tyres all round and have narrowed it down to a choice of 2, so which would you choose between Toyo T1Rs and the Vredestein Sessantas? I'll be fitting these to my 18"Rays.
AK350Z
I would say the Vreds. Excellent value for the performance.
rtbiscuit
i'm biased, hence my vote for the sessanta's excellent tyres, superb grip and a really firm sidewall. for me the toyos are ok but i think the side wall is too soft and i don't think they are as good as the sessanta's. sessanta's also came in evo's top 3 tyres when they reviewed a load, and also several other mags and programs have rated them well. rich5259
I should say that the prices are very similar on camskills, so cost's not an issue
mattd8983
I have had all 4 tyres changed to the Vredestein Sessantas and i think there brilliant
sunset350z
The Vredestein Sessantas are probably a safer tyre for this time of year as well
Chris`I
Havent used them myself, but Adrian rates the Sessanta over Falkens which are regarded to be similar to Toyo. I'd go with the Sessanta
Beavis
I will go against the grain and go with the Toyo. Had them on my car when the nismo's were fitted. Great tyre.

serious metal
Replaced the original Bridgestones with TR1s - having been advised that the sidewall issue had been remedied - it hasn't. They are less immediate in their response and have reduced the amount of 'feel'!
