Beavis
Got myself a small trickle/cycler charger for the zed today to keep the battery on its toes during the winter months. Says in the instructions to disconnect the battery before connecting. Do i really need to do this and what precautions should i take before i disconnect the battery?, dont really want to leave the windows powered down (recommended if you disconnect the battery) for long periods despite the fact the car is garaged and car covered. Stew
I have a 'permanant' trickle charger on my motorbike Dave. I didn't have to disconnect it and the fitting is fixed on. I've used a few trickle chargers and none have needed disconnected.....

Beavis
Thanks for the replys guys To be honest i have had it on this afternoon with the battery connected and everything was fine. It comes with the fitted cable and plug anyway that you fit to the battery connections anyway. Thought it would be ok to connect with out disconnecting the battery, brother does the same on his Fezza
