pathfinder123
thanks bennett the pains had subsided as had the swelling and guarding on that side. and the pain was very localised to where the appendics is. it may well have been inflamed but not appendicitis. they mentioned it could be a grumbly apendics. bit like their grumbly owner. I was taken in to hospital with the same symptoms as you. After starving me for 3 days with the only food a biscuit (not sure if it was a RT), they sent me home. A grumbling appendix was the diagnosis. Forty years have passed, and no recurrence (yet).... However, a bit wary of sailing round the world single handed... S. srobrien
Jeez, that took some time. I give the NHS the finger a while ago in place of Private care and it was one of the best things ive ever done. I feel sorry for the doctors and nurses who work in it though as they want to help but get tied up in waiting lists, red tape and budgets. Wish I could ask for a refund on NI though R

bronzee
You really don't want to be anywhere near a hospital on Xmas. Hope the rumbling settles & you're ok RT.
