Chesterfield
Has anyone any experience of this? I am asking as a colleague in the office is looking to purchase a new car (they have actually done the deal) but does not want to take the dealer up on their offer of Gap insurance for £370 (the car is £12k). They believe there are better deals elsewhere, indeed internet quick quotes with some unknown companies woul suggest that the going rate would be around half this or less. Has anyone used any specific companies for Gap insurance? Has anyone had any need to claim and what was your experience? Any reviews good or bad appreciated! martinopy
It does sound quite expensive but it's definately worth having imo.
Stew
Jayne got 3 years of gap insurance on her car for £199 from the dealer. There are deals to be had but it's worth screwing them down.
Sarnie
I've always had GAP insurance but never ever paid for it. Always insist on them throwing it in.
Chris`I
Jayne got 3 years of gap insurance on her car for £199 from the dealer. There are deals to be had but it's worth screwing them down. Amanda got the same on her Ibiza from the dealer. And I had it on my Leon, and again was about £200 for 3yrs which was on a £15.5k car I'd probably expect to pay more, say £300, for something like a new Zed though. Overpriced for their car in my mind.
