rtbiscuit
after seeing Edzeds lovely new spoiler it got me back on the thinking chair. i have a nsimo V2 spoiler but mine is not the one with the carbon blade. and i'm in 2 minds of what to do with it. the majority of the spoiler will be the same colour as the car. but i'm unsure what to do with the blade of the spoiler. option 1 paint all of the spoiler Silver to match the car option 2 paint the blade part and the end caps black. long term plans are for the wheels to be black and possibly some other parts, i'm interested to see what others say sp feel free to add your opinion to see if it will help me make my mind up. also i think Husky mocked up some photoshops to help, so he might post them up later. clarkie34
I think all one colour would be too much. Either paint black the blade and end caps or better still carbon wrap them.

Either paint black the blade and end caps or better still carbon wrap them. thats what i thought, i had considered a carbon wrap, but it doesn't match with the little bit of carbon i already have, as its the dry looking carbon. need to work out which black to use as well, so many choices

clarkie34
Get the wrap done then get it laquered. I have the carbon blade and when it's polished and waxed it looks spot on.

I have the carbon blade and when it's polished and waxed it looks spot on. i can see what your saying, but i've seen the CF wrap and i can't see how laquering it will make it better. i'd rather go painted, some kind of greyish black with a metalic flake. Madmarky had a nice colour on his spoiler blade. it wasn't black but it really looked good. colour almost matched that of CF.
ChrisS
Just to be different. The main body silver to match the car. The blade black with silver flecks to match the car. No traight lines from blade to main body, instead the black blended into the silver. Good sprayer required.... Chris

Im thinking Ebisu.... with a flake. Mind you, it might not tie in with the wheels!

buster
just paint the end caps or get em wrapped.its what i am planning to do as i agree the mass of colour does take over. once i get it done i post a new pic. imo the centre blade should be left colur coded to the car.
