cgomez1978 Posted November 18, 2009 Share Posted November 18, 2009 sometimes when im braking just before the car comes to a stop i can feel like a grinding feeling coming through the brake pedal. the only way to describe it is it feels like the ABS is kicking in , it only does it every so often not every time, ive been away with work and whille i was away my brother borrowed the car and my red stuff pads went so he had some blue print ones fitted, i was just woundering if anyone had any advice on what it could be. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ZMANALEX Posted November 18, 2009 Share Posted November 18, 2009 ABS kicking in will not give you a grinding noise. Have a look at the pads and make sure that they are fitted properly and secure, also check that the back plate is well clear of the disc.
