hanel
Managed to get around to changing my Nissan badges for the Z ones I bought. I decided not to put the Z badges on the rear as I thought it looked better without and the badges that I bought wasn't the same size for the back. Roadster seems to have a smaller and flatter badge on the back than the front. If anyone is looking for a Z badge for the back of their coupe let me know and I'll send it to you as long as you post your picture once done on the forum so we can all see the results. hanel
How do you get the badges off and do you need to touch up the paint afterwards? I just used a piece of string and ran it under the badge. This cuts the sticky pad that it is on and the badge comes off. To then get the sticky pad off I tried a variety of "techniques". Your nail works well but I found that glass clean on a duster worked the best. Spray the glass cleaner on the cloth and rub it in for a bit then rub it with a dry piece of cloth and the pad will come off slowly. Took me about an hour to remove the pad completely. Paint was undamaged. Then just cleaned, polished and then waxed the panels. Good as new!
