gazhull8474
Im wondering if anyone can help me out on this matter. I have a 350z roadster and was wondering if anyone from here has had a spoiler fitted and if so what type cost etc. Also is there anyone out there who can recommend any to me. BladesGrant
I am currently getting an OEM style lip spoiler fitted to my roadster. I bought my from Spoilerdepot.com as you need a specific type of spoiler to fit without adjustments as the curve is slightly different on the Coupe and the Roadster. The first thing Martin will tell you is "remember the boot is plastic!!" so I will get there first. I should have pictures of mine up mid next week as its currently being fitted as we speak. I paid £100 delivered from the states. Depends on what look you are wanting to go for as there are lots of options.
gazhull8474
I like it but im looking for something a bit bigger that stands out more to be honest.
martinmac
I have just replied to the pm about this and guilty as charged.... First comment was the boot is plastic.
BladesGrant
Martinmac has a bigger spoiler on his. Its hard with the roadster due its rather large backside, the shape of the car totally changes with the roof up to the roof down. I generally like most of the spoilers on the roadsters with the roof down but I don't like the same ones with the roof up. Thats just my opinion though. Sure you will like Martins though as it is very nice roadster. Everything on Martins compliments, the kit, wheels etc. Probably best one I have seen to be honest. gazhull8474
Your making me jealous now with that spoiler but im not sure if the carbon fibre will look good on a sunset thats my only problem.
gazhull8474
Where did you get it from i might be getting onto them in a bit and getting myself one of them i think.
BladesGrant
Depends on what look your going for overall. If you had some other carbon bits on then it could balance it out. Some people have done black/carbon fin and ends but had the rest colour coded. Lots of options to go for out there. You need to have the wallet to get the car where you eventually want it. gazhull8474
Yeah thats the thing dont have the wallet at the minute but roll on afgan next year then going to get it just how i want it lol
martinmac
I agree that the the body kit balances out the spoiler. Sunset. http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/AIT-Ra ... RW/621241/
gazhull8474
I must admit i like the carbon bonnets as well have to start saving my pennies i suppose.
gazhull8474
Did the fitting process take long to do.
martinmac
About 3 hours. Unfortunately the first one was damaged so had to be removed. The second one in stock was also damaged so they had to make one good spoiler out of the two damaged ones. Its pretty straightforward usually. Save up and get this too. http://www.intensepower.com/inhanbokit35.html
gazhull8474
LOL let the saving commence that link for the spoiler you sent me do the deliver to the uk ok.
BladesGrant
That is one of the nicest kits in my opinion. I wanted it but I just couldn't afford it. So instead I have gone for the full V3, not many Roadsters with that so decided to try it!!
gazhull8474
Yeah there is some nice kits out there but its just deciding which one to have also its a pain that they dont deliver from america alot cheaper it seems for some things. BladesGrant
Its not just the deliver charges you have to remember the import duties you get stung with. Sometimes it works out more expensive as it can double the price!!
gazhull8474
Oh Sh!t forgot about that actually fair point so it looks like a steal up until the point of getting hit for import tax
