introspect
Had my front pads changed with some Ferodo DS2500 on Tuesday. Drove home and everything seemed fine. Just been out now and when I'm driving I'm getting a metallic grinding/whining noise. It doesn't happen when I'm braking, only when I'm driving along. Anyone got any suggestions as to what could be causing this? I'm going to phone the garage that did them for me tomorrow morning, but I'm a bit worried at the moment
stanski
Had similar sometimes you get foreign matter trapped between disc and dust sheild. But since you had brakes done maybe a clip has come loose or the pad cracked?
ZMANALEX
Suspect that the back plate may now be touching the disc. Back to the garage for rectification.

Is it likely to have caused any damage to the disk? Will I be ok driving it if that's the case? I'm a bit worried about making things worse
