Kuro
Just wondering if anyone is using this, or has any opinions for and against? Looking at my service invoice, it seems this stuff is the dealer's choice...
Removed
not sure it's real fully synth, like the motul silkolene or amsoil... won't be bad for the Z though

amsoil
I stand to corrected here but Ultron is a 5w-40 ? My book says the 350Z should have 5w-30, with 3 additional choices all being 30 weights. I am no expert in Exxon Mobil products but I believe you have either Ultron 5w-40 which I believe is not manufactures recommendations or an Exxon 5w-30 which I think you will find is a semi synthetic oil exceeding manufactures recommendations. Either way its the same company as Mobil and is easily a good enough oil; however if a thicker oil than necessary is in the car it will incur whats called 'pumping losses' , the pump working a little harder than necessary, which will reduce power/MPG a small amount and as a by product of the pump working harder produce more heat so the temperatures will be up a little. Whether you will notice either is another matter.
