Chesterfield
Sorry to dissapoint - but yes, thats the key. I also found it quite unbelieveable that the key was like that. My oil burning golf key has more class. But at least you can tell owners of other marques that they put the effort into the car rather than the trimmings. M13KYF
you can always get a official Z key ring to go with it. by ther way and enjoy the forum
Jacko
But at least you can tell owners of other marques that they put the effort into the car rather than the trimmings. lol Chris, do you want a new pack of straws to keep grasping at?? But we all know what you meant mate Oh and Welcome Dave. Get one bought, you know it makes sense. I mean, if the only thing that you didn't like was the key, then you are sorted ain't ya! Sarnie
Its not the key that is important, its the car it goes into
lomoto
never gave key a second thought , its either in the ignition or in my pocket I wouldnt let it put you off a Zed
Rob_Quads
It would be bloody handy to have a remote BOOT pop on the key though. For the sake of $1s worth of actual parts would have made it much more usable. Doh - Helps if you use the right word

Digsy
Key is sh@te and shoddy, end of story, but the car is . Buy it!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and welcome!
hanel
Can't believe you actually looked at the key. When the guy handed over the key for my test drive I just grabbed it and almost ran out the door, popped it in the ignition and drove off. My advise:- Spend more time admiring the car and you'll soon forget about the key! P.S.
Guest prescience
All of the above is true - but at the margins, its the little things that count. And there is no reason for the key/fob to resemble a Fiesta one.
