Sarnie
Why would there be extra charges? PS: Why are you bumping this Subzero, is it not sold?
3FIDDYZ
Why would there be extra charges? PS: Why are you bumping this Subzero, is it not sold? Data... you need to make sure your contract on the sim you use has the right data contract... iphones are online most of the time and if you have email via microsoft exchange coming through all the time it can be costly! we just had an engineer that landed a £900 bill on his company vodafone contract!! You just need to turn off data roaming and you can set your email to be picked up manually or every hour, 30 mins, 15 mins etc if data roaming is left on when abroad it can cost an arm and a leg even when on o2

Chris`I
Mark: you just need to make sure whatever contract you have has a good data policy. The iphone doesnt really use that much if you arent on GPRS/3G all the time. But if some mong at work has an ordinary Vodafone contract with no data bundle and uses it, then yes it will get very very expensive! You can quite easily talk Vodafone or whoever into giving you nearly free, nearly endless data when it comes to contract renewal But remember with iPhone coming to T and Voda, dont be suprised if they hit back at non-iPhone tarriff users who have iPhones on their networks, I can assure you they keep a very close eye on these things. Think its Voda and Orange not T. Wonder when Orange will announce - can't leave it too much longer if they don't want to miss out on the christmas buyer

You can get them on T if you are a high paying customer and threaten to leave though *allegedly*. I thought Orange had already announced it though. Reportedly they will have it in time for xmas and Voda just after. Will be interesting to see how they both cope with having it and the new services they bring. Voda are reportedly loosing a shed load of customers to O2 atm going for iPhones.
