stanski
The start of the worse time of year for me ... Dark when you get up - dark when you drive into work, horrible spray on the motorways from wagons etc and the poor little Zed getting attacked from people who cant hold a steering wheel straight and stay in their lane! So here's to the next 3 months of hell on the M56 Make sure you all drive safe folks - headlights on keep that washer bottle topped up and check your tyre pressures simple stuff but dont get caught out! Chris`I
Yup, fun times ahead! Fortunately I get into work early and leave early, so only dark on the way in for a few weeks more. When it gets dark on my way home I know xmas is coming Also means I manage to miss most of the noddy drivers too!
stanski
Husky Wicks do a nice portable Flood light and stand for peanuts - you can have your own mini football stadium! (But not too close to plastic bumpers!) Chris your lucky - it takes me 1 hour in the morning and 2.5 hours home - usually add 30 mins on top per month leading up the Xmas and if an accident not even anywhere near M56 add another hour on! Chris`I
Yes I am very lucky, but I pay the price by having to get up about 1.5hrs before I really should need to Was just about to say do it properly and get the Wickes 1000w dual spotlight, but it doesnt seem they do it any more I have the double, basically 2 of those lights linked above, together on one stand. Awesome for lighting and heating my garage! EDIT: No, I was wrong, its Screwfix you want to visit, and get one of these babies http://www.screwfix.com/prods/14558/Lig ... I'm terrible on a morning - its best not to even speak to me, when its dark I wouldn't even recommend being in the same house on a morning! Beavis
I am dreading the day when a snow flake drops from the sky and everyone throws their arms up in the air and surrenders by either log jamming the roads or stopping at home because its too dangerous to go out Never once in 30 years have i not made it into work because of the weather. Your all a bunch of pussys

Everyone stuck to the inside lane so gave me 2 lanes to slide down all the way there

nixy
i say it ever year.............I HATE DRIVING TO WORK ON ICE AND/OR SNOW.......... SISSY! Bet they grit the road outside your house......... 5 miles of narrow untreated country road for me before i get to the main road. Funnily enough though, when it snows thats the bit you can get along albeit very slowly and carefully. Its the main A road that grinds to a halt! What really pees me off though is all the t0ssers that don't appreciate you're in rear wheel drive and hence crawling on the country road ice - they just tailgate you all the way - especially the chelsea tractor brigade!
