Tracking - Toe In

Trog

Recommended Posts

My car is going back into Westway this week to have another go at the tracking (after tyre warranty) amongst other things (another clicky shaft etc..).

Based on my previous experience, if you apply the right amount of toe-in on the front, the car will naturally centre itself as you you apply the throttle, BUT my Z never feels comfortable (if you know what I mean).

If I make a very very small correction to the left, it will pull slightly left and likewsie, if I make a very very small correction to the right, it will pull slightly to the right. basically, I can never let go of the wheel on a flat road and expect it to drive in a straight line! Not that I do this, but you get the idea.

Anyone else suffer the same problem and is my diagnosis correct (i.e. not enough toe-in).
