paddy0d
Hi, as above - I understand some of the later versions of the 350Z have revised plenums with less restriction to the airflow for the front cylinders. Is it possible to one of these on an older 03 Z? Thanks Paddy
clarkie34
I thought the plenum on the revup is the one with problems with air flow to the front 2 cylinders. That's why it feels it has less torque. Just get a spacer for yours.
Stew
An MY03 needs a spacer. For a rev up a spacer coupled with an MREVII will net the best gains. The plenum in the MY03 offers the best flow I believe.
sunset350z
Are you getting the plenum mixed up with the lower collector? The plenum chambers are virtually identical between the 2 models, apart from a few bolt holes. The difference is in the lower collector. The up-rev collector has shorter inlets, which would give you slightly less torque. You'll have absolutely no benefit fitting an up-rev lower collector whatsoever. If you had an up-rev engine then a good mod is to fit a MREV2 from a MY03, which has had the front 2 inlets machined down, and a spacer
