david0102
Hi guys, I have recenty looked at my exhaust, and it needs replacing due to rust/corrosion. Looking at a custom stainless steel exhaust system for the z. Been to my local exhaust specialist and they have recommended powerflow. I looked at other exhaust system which is the nismo. Any 1 had a powerflow or nismo on their z? Which recommendations would u suggest? Also I have looked at the exhaust tips, any 1 got any pictures of a z with the angled cut exhaust tips? Stew
Search on Nismo exhaust will churn up thousands of posts. Obviously that makes life difficult. It's a good quality system but comes in at mega bucks. There are loads of dual cannister type of exhausts like the 5Zigen ones and the K1. The standard type boxes like Scorpion, nismo and K2 look more OEM. I have seen a couple of custom Zed exhausts and they sound pretty good. What budget you got for a replacement? The K1 (loud cannister type), Scorpion (throaty) and K2 (nismo-esque) all start at £350. The nismo is about £1200.....
david0102
Well the exhaust specialist said about 600 - 700 for a powerflow custom. Its built to your requirements, so my budget is around that mark. The exhausts you said there, are they a custom job or a direct replacement stainless? Stew
The ones I mentioned are straight swaps. At the £700 mark you might have a bit of choice. Best to give CS and Envy a call to check the options!

Gaz Walker
I'd stick with a ready made system TBH - the Japspeed K2 and a Y-pipe is a nice choice and comes in at £537.
Adriank
Depends on what your looking for from the exhaust... For £700 , i'd agree with gaz.. If you want something quietish, K2 and a Y pipe If you want someting louder + free flowing buddyclub with y pipe is about £650, envy can supply this too i believe.
