Greekman
After i had the nismo exhaust and air intakes fitted i started seeing the CEL light bright yellow!!! The code is P2AOO from the O2 lamda sensors...any ideas??? I think its got to do with those extensions Zmanalex was taking about....
Martin W
since when did the CEL return a Hex output? Is this from a code reader or using the accelerator pedal ?
maz77
sounds like a code reader. are you running standard cats?
Greekman
From a code reader i think...the garage did it... OEM cats on... he said smth about a sensor 7.
rtbiscuit
get him to right it all down on a piece of paper next time, my guess is you have a leak before the cats, as there are no sensors after the cats
3FIDDYZ
possibly the A is a 4... P2400 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Control Circuit/Open
rtbiscuit
possibly the A is a 4... P2400 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Control Circuit/Open oh thats a new one on me, where is that located?
3FIDDYZ
no idea... generic odbII code.... Best to wait till the correct code is given or could be a case of misdiagnosis! But! No reason for a car with stock cats to give out codes (unless the cats are knackered and alexs spacers wont help!) after a zorst fitted.. You may have a bust O2 sensor... check they are in tight... could have been damaged when zorst fitted.. What garage are you taking the car too? After your brake thread hope not the same place! Ian
possibly the A is a 4... P2400 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Control Circuit/Open Evap can issue maybe? Its possible considering its only happened since getting the exhaust fitted
Greekman
These guys are great! It was Hull nissan that fitted the brakes.... They only fitted the cat back nismo. Didnt touch the O2 sensors at all. His writing isnt great but its clearly P2AOO O2 sensor/ circuit range-perform smth cant read it./ banh 7 sensor
rtbiscuit
well the only O2 sensors near the exhaust are the ones in the Cats. wonder if something has bounced up or you have grounded out and knocked your O2 sensors
