StuF
Hello everyone. I may be going to have a look at a 2004 350Z this week and have had a quick look through the buying guide on here and I have a couple of questions. The issues the cars have with feathering tyres and clicking driveshafts. Should these issues have been resolved via a dealer recall? and would this be documented in the service history of the car? Cheers in advance Stu
sunset350z
My car had the clicking driveshafts and were done under warranty and documented in the service history, along with the Bose stereo issue. But not all cars would have been affected and some would of been done out of warranty. As for feathering tyres, not heard of that problem. martinmac
Hi Stu and welcome to the forum. The issues were subject to the owner requesting the dealer to rectify the problem rather than a recall. If this has been done the owner should have retained the paperwork. The clicky axle is very easy to spot though and isnt really a major issue.
Beavis
to the forum. The feathering iirc was an issue on very early cars and should be well sorted by now. The clicky axle issue would not put me off a zed. Can be easily sorted.

StuF
Ohh one more thing. I'm not getting any emails to notify me of any replies to my thread. I have changed the settings in my user control panel but still no joy. Anyone know why this is?
