Ebized
Anyone know how to deal with an error message I have on a FS-6950DN that says: 0150:0016688 Been onto various blog sites seems to be firmware issue but can't find how to deal with it. If anyone does know, please be gentle with me, IT is not my strong point by far and in the same week my old faithfull HP Deskjet 930C gave up the ghost I'm printerless.... Ebized
Running XP pro. Its just a A3 laser b & w printer - 2 trays + duplex. The message stays displayed so the printer does not go into sleep mode. From what I can gather on the forum blogs it seems to be a common issue. Printer is about 3 years old and cost about £750 at the time - no other problems until now. Following on from your driver suggestion came across this: http://driverplex.com/wp-content/upload ... 4wodgUhp0w Is it safe to run, or could that result in more worms? stanski
I would check google for using that utility first if anyone has had issues otherwise its an obvious thing to try. Maybe a new patch or driver can fix it? Go for it colin but remember no peripherals last forever both my printer and scanner have gone pop but they were 10 years old!!!
