rtbiscuit
transplant the skyline drivetrain into the zed and you'd have 4 wheel drifting
350doc
I think o matter what rubber is on the Zeds, they'll struggle in the snow. I drove with Vredstein Wintrac Extremes in Latvia in December (coming back via Berlin), and the car was superb, even in a blizzard!
ZedJohn
ohhh rtbiscuit, good idea - I wonder how much Mitz at CS would charge...
rtbiscuit
i bet it would cost more than a turbo conversion. if you were pushing the boat out, you'd transplant the engine in as well if your doing it you might as well go the whole hog
fatalus
I have had the Vredestein Wintrac Extreme in the default tyres during the last 2 snowy swedish winters. I can say that although is by definition not the best snow mobile, i can say that it is more than driveable even on snowy conditions, providing that your brain is still inside your head of course! The Vredesteins made a very good job even in the dry/wet winter conditions, although at the expense of less than expected tread life...especially in the rear ones
