Either the idiots in slow cars don't pull back to the left after overtaking and it becomes a 1 lane D/C or worse, a lorry doing 56mph tries to overtake another doing 55.9 and fails after 4 miles Quote
richt Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Got to be the A64 between York & Scarborough. Crap surface and clogged everyday with day trippers. Ah but have you been on it in the past week? The new improvements are in place - FOUR lanes approaching the roundabout WITH traffic lights on it. Need to wait for Caravan season to come around again to see if works! Can't think it will make any difference. Will still have the same problem of the A64 going from 2 lanes to 1 lane. Hope it is better though. Quote
martinmac Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I think the road from Stanley to Mount Pleasant merits a mention. The storm ditches are about three foot deep if you go off. Then again, the ditches stop you hitting the mine fields. Great fun after a few beers. Quote
