Chris`I
TBH thats not a bad fee. I've had between £10 and £30 charges before for changing details of a premium from other insurers.

Jak
I'm with Admiral and had the same charge, its anoying but as said before it could be worse! The most annoying one i've ever had though was with Bell who raised my premium by £70.00 when i told them i had put new alloys on my swift gti and then told me that they still wern't covered but the premium was raised because it made the car more attractive to theives. - Takes one to know one i suppose. Jak
I've also noticed when speaking to admiral that the blokes are generally hard work and a bit of a PITA over the phone but the ladys are much more friendly and likely to "omit" charges! maxi-glasgow
Best one was I went in to get my road tax and the girl in the post office pointed out the number on my insurance certificate was NLZ 9523 and my number ends in 6. She gave me the tax anyway but told me to get in contact with Admiral because if I had a smash they could renege on the insurance.... I called up and they said I would need to pay £14 to change it, I said it's their mistake, it's not like I gave them the wrong details or how would they pull up the right car etc with the wrong registration number...She said when the certificate gets issued you have 14 days to notify of any errors. So I sent an email instead saying how this was THEIR mistake, not mines, yet I was being charged for THEIR mistake. Got and email back right away saying their were waiving the £14 charge.... Jak
That or it'd be exactly the opposite if i was female - with the blokes omitting the charges and the ladys enforcing them! Just turn on the charm i reckon! Jak
