nbrant
Hi guys, I've just got my bluetooth adapter off fleabay, fitted it, it seems to work ok... except that when I try to use the voice dialing, it speaks to me in German! I've got the standard OEM Bose head unit, cradle, and adapter. Also, when I push and hold the voice command button, I get straight through to the talking clock... which I didn't think I had on speed dial... I'm pretty sure that the language thing is either something to do with the radio set up, though I can't find anything in the manual. When you push the PTY button and turn it on, it lets you select english language, but that doesn't seem to make a difference. The voice commands may be a incompatibility with the phone... I have a sony Ericsson c902 or osomething like that... Any ideas?
BulletMagnet
"spreken" is actually dutch... I've just gone through the Nissan Manual "350Z Supplement: Integrated Phone", but couldn't find anything in regards to language. So it may have something to do with your phone settings. M13KYF
this has happened to a member before. Unfortunately its the base unit which is under the cubbyhole behind the passenger seat. You have been fitted with a german one instead of a UK one. If your car is a UK model then you need to go back to Nissan Uk and get it changed. Model no for the part is KE283-CDU01 and more info here viewtopic.php?f=17&t=13358&start=0 search under AndyC and german for more info viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5033&hilit=german

nbrant
Thanks guys, the control unit was included with the BT adapter that I bought, so I just switched the german one for the UK one... Works fine! I wonder if they make one that speaks Northern...
