jimmyboyb
Hi All, I am going to pick up a 350z import tonight. Very excited as not owned one before. But I have a question please and cant find an answer searching. The oil temp/voltage dials dont work. The guy I am buying it off said this is because the head unit had been replaced which controlled the dials. Is this true? Any help appreciated. Forum is great for info and only be looking at it for last 1/2 hour! James
nurrish
Well that is not true. More than likely the cable which attaches to the dials has been knocked all pulled out
Husky
+1 its quite easy to plug back in free up the gear stick surround (AC controls) by pulling up at the back, will click off, no screw. take out the 6 screws you can see under the level of the stereo, also the ones in the cubby if present. pull out on the whole system by releasing the clip at the top behind the triple gauges. put your hand round the right hand side at the top under the triple gauges, there should be a white connector, make sure its home completely there is a guid ehere somewhere
