Car Audio Centre - Birmingham

Guys,

I don't know if anyone else has used this place but I'm having some greif!

I was trying to change my Bose head unit and popped down there to see if the could do anything, they pomised everything I asked and I paid a hundred quid deposit and booked the car in, when I arrived, one of the parts they'd tried to get was out of stock and the other didn't exist! They didn't even bother to call to say they couldn't do the job and I'd travelled across Birmingham to get there, I kicked off and asked for my deposit back, they said it had to go through their head office, I've now requested my refund twice since and have now had to put it in a dispute with my credit card company.

I was wondering if anyone had had similar experiences or could use this as a warning!

John

I've used them a few times and one of the blokes actually showed me a 350z that they had done for shows.

- other times I have walked in and been told they havent got a clue.

If you want somewhere a bit more helpful go to the Bass Bin http://www.thebassbin.co.uk/ and ask for Adam. They'll sort you out  (I just dont like parking my car in the area  )
