speedy
does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it...Every time it rains my front windscreen mists up. The only and i mean only way to stop it is to turn on the AC...Surely the fan should be able to demist it, but it doesnt...
nixy
mine always mists too - i have aircon all all the time winter and summer with or without the heater on. Its probably just one of those things we all get.
BladesGrant
Yeah mine mists and I can't stop it without putting a/c on. I don't think the tempertaure is very good when a/c is off and I don't have it on very often. Thankfully I can just drop the top (although not when its raining!!! )
rich5259
I don't have the problem as my A/C is permanently on
scottsoulby
I think you can buy rain x anti mist that's meant for this type of problem, I was planning on buying some as mine mists the same as yours, it might be worth a go
martinmac
A quick run with the rood down sorts mine. I am still hoping to be able to do this sometime this year.
Ekona
Turn the fan selector dial to floor, that'll close the vents and stop the temperature difference between the outside air and the internal air misting the screen up. Either that or put the temp dial round to hot or pop the ac on az has been said.
Tarmac@TarmacSportz
- Heater on 'not A/C' - Front and rear window heaters selected - Open window slightly for a couple of mins Job done This works for me everytime I get it, but as you can see everyone has there own methods

Tarmac@TarmacSportz
My windscreen is heated, on close inspection you can see little lines on it. I imagine yours would be the same ?
Darren-B
only jdms have the heated front screen option, If you use the ac it dries the air so when it gets a little damp and you havent the ac on it will mist up. either never use the ac or always use it simples

My assumption was incorrect then. You don't have heated front windows.

3FIDDYZ
AC should be on all the time (or as often as possible) as its air conditioning not air cooling (well it is when you wack it down to 18!!) If you have got condensation I would try that for a few weeks every time your out, just change the temp dial to suit. Also make sure you dont have it on recirculate, use the option that shows the air coming from the outsude... I would also have a look in the bottom of the battery and brake fluid sections too see if you have leaf blockage and no sat water and also make sure the little holes near the wipers arnt blocked. Why would you want the AC on all the time? The other dial is the climate control and keeps the tempture at a constant level (not cold enough but there you go). I will check the holes etc...
